How’s that again? He apologizes for our bad feelings rather than for his own act of deception?

When Deval gets elected and after a couple years things get worse, not better, it is a guarantee that he will blame the mess left for him by 'the previous administration.' As sure as the sun rises and sets, he will apologize by using that excuse.
His administration will accelerate the 'Mass.' exodus from Boston and the state of hard-working taxpayers. Backfilling for those leaving will be illegal immigrants coming in. They won't contribute anywhere near the amount that those who left did, and your democratic-ruled state will collapse even more.
The democrats won't be able to blame republicans, although they'll try to. The silver lining in getting a democratic governor is that you'll see first-hand how a train wreck occurs.

Um, no... He's apologizing to the people who feel (think) that he did something wrong. Not everyone feels that way, and there's no point in apologizing to the people who don't...
