More on Dan Rather’s lawsuit in today’s Boston Globe: In his lawsuit, Rather maintains that the story was true, but that if any aspect of the broadcast was not accurate, he was not responsible for the errors.
So the news report about documents that the New York Times headline described as “Fake, but Accurate” may turn on its head in court and be called “Not Fake, but Inaccurate”.
I so hope this suit goes to trial.
