She has reached beyond her political inheritance and shaped a political presence all her own. Hillary belittlers still abound, to be sure. She is still caricatured as calculating. But the senator has taken on some different markings. Gone is the defensive bite, on hand is a new openness to concede mistakes, often with glints of humor.

Is the 'cackle' being portrayed here as 'humor?' How haughty of him to suggest that. The 'cackle' is on a list of horrible Hillary habits that will seal her fate. No one (read: NO ONE) likes to see seething rage and hatred from a woman disguised as a 'cackle.'
often with glints of humor
Check out the youtube video of Obama telling her as she cackles away that she will serve as a valuable adviser. The sweeping camera view captures a glint of something in her face, and it is not humor. (Obama's face is priceless as you see the punchline form in his mind - he is quick!)
Hillary and humor? That Hillary on this planet? She is so humorless she makes John Kerry look like Jerry Seinfeld.
I have no idea what "glints of humor" Sasso is referring to. Perhaps this painfully awkward attempt at a sappy Christmas ad?
I'm baffled.
Sasso has had a long string of very bad analysis. Why would he stop now?
